The Iwaki Factory manufactures many of Kureha's products, serving as the central facility for the supply of specialty products to markets throughout the world. A series of manufacturing plants on the vast 1,115,000m2 site produce functional resins, carbon products and medical products. Nearly all the manufacturing facilities on the site are based on Kureha's proprietary technologies. The site is equipped with a power plant and is adjacent to an industrial waste treatment facility operated by Kureha Ecology Management Co., Ltd., providing both the efficiency and environmental requirements to make it an ideal manufacturing base.
The Plastics Processing Factory manufactures highly original products utilizing polyvinylidene chloride resin including the household wrapping film New Krewrap, which is produced with a commitment to quality and ease of use by consumers, as well as Blow Ace soft squeezable bottles for ketchup. |
