Multilayer barrier shrink film for food packaging

Krehalon ML Film is a heat-shrinkable multilayer film incorporating a PVDC or EVOH barrier layer between polyolefin layers. Developed in the 1970s, Krehalon ML Film is designed for use in vacuum-seal packing, providing efficient skin-tight packaging for irregularly shaped meat and cheese products. The film was further improved in the 2000s to adjust for packaging automation, which led to widespread adoption in the global food industry.

Krehalon ML B-2000 is a high-shrinkage multilayer bag developed to maintain the freshness and the quality of chilled meat products such as chilled beef and chilled pork.

  • Superior transparency and gloss, and secondary seal (inner layers stick together) after heat shrink treatment make contents look more attractive and delicious
  • Heat-shrink property provides air-tight fit for contents

Krehalon ML ML40G is a multilayer heat-shrinkable bag and pouch designed for use in vacuum packaging, suitable for wrapping small portions of fresh meat products.

Krehalon ML VS-20

Krehalon ML VS-20 is a multilayer heat-shrinkable pouche designed to withstand boiling. It is an ideal packaging solution for products such as processed meats and cheeses.

Characteristics

  • Can withstand 98℃ for approximately 10 minutes (can be used in boiling conditions within the range listed for the contents)
  • Heat-shrink properties provide air-tight fit for contents
  • Excellent transparency and gloss for an attractive display of the contents
  • Resistance to oxygen and water vapor permeation keeps contents fresh
  • Film surface is compatible with adhesives for better labeling
